Q. How much does “Network” membership cost?
A. Membership is FREE
Q. Who can join?
A. Primarily, all serving & retired members of The UK Emergency Services but the general public can also join as
“Associate” members although they are only able to access the “open” pages. This increases exposure for
those members who are happy to let their properties to the general public.
Q.Why advertise on Our-Pad.com?
. Exclusive advertising for your property with no other distracting adverts.
Q. Who can advertise on Our-Pad.com?
A. Anyone can advertise provided the property is privately owned. Non EMS (Associate)advertisers must offer at
least 5% discount against advertised rates To EMS Personnel

Q. How will people find out about Our-Pad.com?
A. Primarily by "networking", internal advertising and word of mouth. Our intention is to promote The Network
within our target organisations only so we need all our members to help and tell as many colleagues as
possible.
Q. How much does it cost to advertise on Our-Pad.com?
A. Basic Ads and Reciprocal Hyperlink Ads are FREE. Standard “Hyperlink” Ads are subject to the advertised fee
at initial registration and renewable annually. A 50% discount will be applied to consecutive renewals of
standard “Hyperlink”ads provided the renewal is made prior to or on the anniversary date.
Renewals past that date will be treated as new adverts and subject of the current advertised fee.
Q. How long will my ad run?
A. Free ads run until you ask us to remove them or until we withdraw the offer of free advertising.
Paid ads will revert to "Basic" ads twelve months from registration unless you notify us to renew them.
Q. Why can’t I access the “For Sale” or Blue” pages?
A. Your status as a member of the Emergency Services must be “authenticated” before access will be permitted.

Q. I can’t log in! I have my password but get a blank page after entering my log in details?
A. If you are using Internet Explorer try this:
Internet Explorer 8.0 users should first ensure compatability mode is enabled.
Click on the link to find out how. If this doesn’t resolve your problem try the steps below.
Open Internet Explorer and click Tools, Internet Options, Security - ensure slider set medium to high
Click Custom Level and scroll through list to Scripting, Active Scripting, Enable click ok
Click on the Privacy tab - ensure the slider is set medium (or lower)
Click Advanced (on bar next to Security, Content, Connections, Privacy etc )
Scroll down to Security, select use SSL3.0, Click OK
If this fails you may be missing critical security updates for your operating system or may
need to update/download the latest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft.
Try logging in from a different computer, if successful this would indicate that that is the case.
Alternatively you may want to consider using/installing a different browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome
